I just got the plans and they list 2sheets of 4 mm and 6 sheets of 6 mm both in the manual and on the pdf plans. I am assuming gust a missprint on the post.

@Dean Godshall I didn't. You're going to glass the hull anyway, so if the finger joints were well saturated it won't be a problem.
