This isn't a product question or request—I'm just curious if this idea seems reasonable. I'm imagining a smaller version of the Sailing Rowcruiser, but with a narrow beam (and no cabin). I'm...
It turned out pretty well! Went 4mm on the main panels, 6mm on the bottom / back. No ribs/bulkheads and it feels solid as a rock. Inside needs a lot of work, but standing up inside feels so good! ...
Just chiming in to say that this idea is really appealing and I'll be following as well!
For those in the Puget Sound area, I've had great experiences with Edensaw Woods. They stock marine plywood (although they are currently out of 4mm Okoume like everyone else) and seem to price thei...

@Colin Angus Thank you! I think I'll leave them as is, then. Building this boat was largely meant to be a learning experience so that I could hop into the larger boat projects (e.g. Rowcruiser) wit...
I'm nearing completion on my Oxford Wherry 16: Despite Colin and Julie's top-notch instructions, I managed to screw up the interior fiberglassing of the hull. I found myself playing a game of wh...
@Colin Angus, on the seaworthiness aspect, how would you compare the Expedition to the Sailing RowCruiser? Or, say, a regular RowCruiser with additional ama/aka outriggers? I'm in a similar positio...
