Hello Piotr. It's been quite a few years since I last built the Oxford Wherry, so I don't recall how much of a gap is formed between the panels in the stern. The reason for the gap is the com...

Hi, as I'm based in Poland I've decided to build oxford wherry with digital plans. Hull panels have been cut at CNC mill according to the attached DXF file and bulkheads with jigsaw based on t...
Hello Keith. I think you should be okay at 11 9/16", but I can't say for sure right now. I'm just at my off grid cabin, so don't have the opportunity to check at the moment, but I will ...
How hard is the 11 3/4" gap between floatation chambers for the rowcruiser? I'm currently at 11 9/16. Expecting the rowing seat and rigger kit to come next week. Thanks, Keith
At some point in the future my double-seater Kairos4Two will become available for new adventures. In 2022 we took her all the way to Ketchikan, as a successful participation in the R2AK. Please see...

This is great!! How many hours would you say you put into building?
That looks fantastic! Not only will it make them stronger, but it gives the boat an exotic racing look. Did you laminate it the same way the glass on the hull is done? And then do...

I'm trying to do the initial wiring together of Bow 1 & 2, ("When you get about 10 ties back from the bow, go back and check the corners of panels 1 and 2 are still aligned"), but the panels re...
@Colin Angus I've been thinking about scaling the designs to tune the Oxford Wherry for nesting and as a tender. It does add upto a bit more than simply nesting an Oxford Wherry. My idea is a "Wh...
Hi Eric, That is the stowed hiking board. I used it in the R2AK and it worked very well. I don't actually have plans for it, but it's pretty basic - using the gunwale and a stowed oar ...
It turned out pretty well! Went 4mm on the main panels, 6mm on the bottom / back. No ribs/bulkheads and it feels solid as a rock. Inside needs a lot of work, but standing up inside feels so good! ...
@Eric Miller hi, Thanks for sharing, nice video. We are not having davits, the stern of our 1977 Rival 38 is too narrow and not buoyant enough (in our opinion). We have a rib for practicali...
EDIT: disregard. they are right there in plain sight, on the ordering page. I asked because I'm not used to seeing that option from designers that sell printed plans. ------ Hey all ...
What is this large black object between the hatch and the solar panel?
