Hello - I'm currently planning building a Rowcruiser and I'm still uncertain if I should build from precut CNC from a company in England, or buy Okume plywood (they call it Okouplex - Okoumeplywood) from a company in Sweden. It is not available in Norway where I live so the costs are really high.
Now - in planning this and compare the different options, I need to know how many sheets of plywood I need to buy for a Rowcruiser? The size of the plates I can buy are Okouplex - Okoumeplywood, 4x1220x2500 ( Okouplex - Okoume/Gabon plywood B/BB - exteriör, Produktspec: [ https://bit.ly/clxokouplex ])
Thats 4 millimeter thick, 1,22 meter width and 2,5 meter long.

i face the same problem (being in Uppsala).
I was considering fir (furu) plywood. Saves some tropical trees, comes from our own country, and is cheap.
since the plywood will be enclosed in glass and epoxy, there isn't much to worry about. Bauhaus has it in 4 and 7 mm. Close enough for what we need, I guess.
Kjell - are you building from plans or DXF files. DXF is slighly more effiicient. I'll look into the number of sheets required. Do you have plans/manual? If so, it should be listed in there.
And George - fir plywood can work. If you can find high quality 4mm sheets they can be substituted. The downside to fir is it is about 20 percent heavier than okoume and doesn't provide such a beautiful look when finished clear.
