Looking for recommendations on a highway worthy trailer for my rowcruiser. I seem to remember seeing one posted at some point a few years ago but can't find it now. Any help is appreciated, or ideas on how to build one up. Thanks.

Hi Eric - We've used the Trailex SUT350-S with good results. The sizing is perfect for the RowCruiser - it's designed for long skinny boats. There are a few elements of the design that aren't ideal, but it does the job. It's mainly made from aluminum, though the leaf springs get rusty pretty quickly. Having said that, I've been using mind for five years and it's still working.
That's great, thanks Colin. Will look into it.
You could look at small boat or kayak trailers and adjust them to fit your rowcruiser. Many people start with a basic trailer and add bunks, supports or rollers so the boat rides safely. Used sailboat trailers can also work since they are often close in size and only need a few changes. If you are comfortable with tools, building one from a simple frame is possible too. It really comes down to how heavy your boat is and how much highway driving you plan to do
