I thought I saw on the website that someone has slept in the forward compartment of their Expedition Rowboat on a cruise camping trip. Is this really possible (for a 5'7" individual in this case)? Hoping to car-top my next build so I'm looking more at the Expedition instead of Rowcruiser. Thanks for any info!
It is possible if you modify the forward bulkhead to create a large opening. Not really recommendable, though, as it's tight, and I don't think you can even close the hatch unless you lie flat on your back. You can carry a lot of gear in the expedition, so the easiest and most enjoyable way to do a multi-day trip is simply to camp at the end of each day using a tent.
