Colin, I've overthought which side of the oar is the front (relative to the boat or relative to the person gripping it) ... and am not sure whether the 3/4" thick wall should be on the side that is the inside of the spoon or on the outside. Thanks in advance!
Hi Matt - Thanks for bringing that up - sounds like I need to clarify that in the instructions. It is the 3/4" wall that is on the spoon (concave) side of the blade. All the best witht the buld.

I haven't started to build my oars yet but was also 🤔ing about this too. On re-reading the manual and looking carefully at the diagrams. I came up with the right answer but it's reassuring to see you confirm this Colin 😀
