I bought the plans for the sliding seat frame, but there seem to be no dimensions indicated for the plywood footplate.
The width must be 10.25" to match the width of the Cross Members, but what is the length?

Hello Loren - The footplate is 13" long by 12.25 wide. Let me know if you have any other questions regarrding the dimensions.
Thanks for your reply, Angus.
But . . .
The crossmember widths per the plans are listed as 10.25". How will the footplate be attachable to the crossmember if it is 12.25" wide? I had assumed that the footplate width would be the same as the crossmember, and I needed the length (which you give as 13"). Either I'm really misunderstanding something, or perhaps you typo'd?
Then, since you ask.....
Both the plans and the build manual say to screw the footplate to the forward cross-member. But the forward crossmember is the vertical piece to the back of the rower/toward the bow of the boat. Surely the footplate should be mounted to the Rear Cross Member, the one angled at 40 degrees, the one toward the stern of the boat, that takes the rower's feet.
