Hello Dennis - The boats are shipped by UPS and the cost of the Oxford Wherry kit to your location is $116. The Expedition is $159. You certainly can pick them up at location, but the cost of the ferries (we're in Victoria on Vancouver Island) and gas will exceed shipping costs. You may also face complications bringing them over the border. They are usually shipped within a week of the order being made, and shipping time to your location is 4-6 business days.
Build time for the Oxford Wherry is about sixty hours, and the Expedition is about 90. You won't always be able to work continuously as there are periods of waiting for epoxy to cure.
