Sliding Seat and Rigger Plans

Our drop-in sliding seat and rigger system is designed to work with all our boats and many others to provide a robust system of propelling your vessel. We have tested this system with over 10,000 miles of rowing, often in extreme conditions, without failure.

The maple seat and fir riggers make a visually pleasing addition to any boat where asthetics are important. The riggers bolt firmly to the boat itself, while the sliding seat frame rests on the base of the hull.

The riggers are constructed from wood and fiberglass. The rowing components are the same as those used by professional rowers and Olympians.

The plans include full-sized templates and illustrated construction manual. Required materials include wood, fibreglass, hardware and rowing components. Total build time is about 10-12 hours with breaks for the epoxy to cure.
