Finished glassing the decks. Access holes will be cut out next.
Cut open the front deck for the hatch opening and preparing all of the parts for glue-up.
Applied a large fillet to the hatch opening and fiberglassed the lid.
Wrapping up wet sanding in preparation for primer and paint. A few items left to epoxy to the hull and drilling and filling holes for hardware. Fun boat to put together.
First coat of TotalBoat wet edge primer applied to the hull. There looks to be minimal fairing remaining at this point. I will add another coat of primer followed by wet edge aqua mist paint after that.
Spruce mounting blocks. These need to be epoxied to the hull along with the foot brace.
First coat of color on the bottom. I think two coats will be sufficient and then a flip for topside finish.
The final coat has been applied to the bottom. I will wait a few days and start on the topside finish.
Getting ready for topside paint.
I had some spare carbon fiber cloth, so I fancied up the large hatch cover to go along with the sliding carbon fiber seat. I plan to use one inch wide NRS straps to hold all of the hatches down.
