I bought this Expedtition Rowboat from Angus boats as a complete kit. All of the parts are cut by CNC from the highest quality marine plywood. I chose the break-apart carbon fiber sculling oars which are the pinnacle of both performance and practicality. I also added the carbon fiber sliding rowing seat and rigging.
The design additional forward and aft storage compartment however the main compartment is so large I chose not to add them. All of the parts to add them are included in this listing...
I built it last summer and is only been in the water for testing. I live in Utah but will be in Oregon in June 2025 and can arrenge a meet...

Hello Craig, I am in South Dakota, The Black Hills. I have a son in Utah though. I am just trying to decide between the Expedition and the RowCruiser. It looks pretty stock other than the rear hatch. What weight cloth did you use? Is does it have fiberglass cloth on interior and exterior?
@Patrick McBride Hey, All the components were included in the kit. Fiberglass cloth for the exterior was 6oz density and all the joints on the inside were filleted with eposy filler and then fiberglass tape was applied and epoxied over. The entire interior is epoxy sealed. All the parts for the front and rear hatches are included. The main storeage is so large I didn't see the need for the other compartments. If you have looked and some of the trips Colin has on the website he explains they were hauling bicycles and trailers along with all their other stuff. Pretty amazing....
