Just received the new Small Boats magazine and found a great article by Owen Alfonso (Aug 2026) highlighting his circumnavigation of Lake Superior in his Angus Expedition. He definitely faced some difficut decision points (weather, seas, shore topography, people, politics) that made his journey more than a challenge. His craft seemed well suited to take on the adventure.
